The animals actually have their own little routines and personalities, so tending the sheep and chickens feels more like a living farm than a checklist. Golden eggs are a nice payoff once you get the hang of feeding everyone.

I was a little skeptical about running a farm in a video game, but having to care for the horses, chickens, and sheep to earn those golden eggs really hooked me. The daily routine feels surprisingly satisfying and rewarding.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of tasks beyond just farming—like raising the animals and discovering special eggs, which adds nice depth. The controls take a little getting used to on the GameCube, but it's rewarding once you settle in.
