I was skeptical about the weird shape, but after a few rounds my hand stopped cramping up entirely. It fits snugly and the button layout feels natural for quarter-circle motions.

The grip sits so snugly in my palm that I forget it’s even there mid-combo, and the button layout finally lets me pull off supers without clawing the controller. It’s bizarre-looking for sure, but for one-on-one fighters, this thing just disappears into your hands.

Ended up buying this mainly for fighting games, and the controller feels solid in the hands once you get used to the ergonomic shape. The d-pad is nice and responsive, which makes pulling off special moves much easier, but the shoulder buttons are just a bit stiffer than I'd like. For the price, it'
