The battles are fast and frantic, reminding me a lot of Ys but with lasers, and the experience gain feels well-paced. It’s a nice change of pace from the usual fantasy RPGs.

The sci-fi setting finally gives the RPG genre a fresh coat of paint, and the battles flow so smoothly that grinding for EXP never feels like a chore. It’s basically Ys with laser guns, and I’m genuinely hooked on the pace.

The sci-fi setting is such a fresh take on the RPG formula, almost like a space opera version of Ys. I’ve been hooked on grinding out those XP from all the laser battles, and the experience gain really does make every fight feel worthwhile.
