Cyborg Kuro Chan 2 (New)

The platforming sections really keep you on your toes since you're juggling jumps with keeping that crosshair locked on enemies, but it clicks after a few stages. White Woods has a surprisingly moody atmosphere for a GBC cartridge, and the colorful sprites pop nicely on the old screen.

The crosshair control is so much more engaging than I expected, forcing you to aim and jump simultaneously. It’s a fresh spin on run-and-gun that keeps every level tense.

The platforming segments combined with the shooting gameplay keeps me on my toes, and the White Woods level adds a nice change of scenery. It’s a solid cartridge for anyone who enjoys a challenge.
