دكتور ماريو

Picked this up for a bit of old-school gaming, and the way the viruses multiply if you don't match the pills fast enough really ramps up the tension. The simple color-matching gets surprisingly addictive after just a few rounds.

My thumbs are cramping and I still can't put it down—the color-matching puzzles get brutally addictive around level 5. Clean cartridge, no glitches, and the music stuck in my head all week is worth it.

The cartridge loads instantly and the buttons still click crisply after all these years—the puzzle pace ramps up fast enough that my palms actually got sweaty by level 10. Perfect for a quick commute round, though I keep telling myself “one more game” and losing an hour.
