Dungeon Explorer II

The CD soundtrack really makes the dungeon crawling feel more epic, and the extra cut-scenes flesh out the story perfectly. My first playthrough was a blast, though I wish the loading times between some of those scenes were a bit shorter.

I wasn't expecting the cut-scenes to add so much atmosphere—they really flesh out the story without padding the gameplay. The loading times are minimal too, so the CD upgrade feels seamless.

The CD audio alone is worth the upgrade over the Hu Card version, and the story moments hit way harder with the added cut-scene candy. I actually cared about what happened between levels instead of just mashing through text.
