Eldorado Gate Vol 4 (New)

The pacing picks up so much in this volume, and the battle system finally feels like it clicks. I’m honestly surprised this didn’t get more buzz back in the day, the sprite work alone is worth the price of admission.

I was blown away by how vibrant the world looks on Dreamcast—the spell effects alone make every battle feel like a mini cutscene. The storyline finally clicked for me around the third chapter, and now I can't put the controller down.

The character animations are surprisingly fluid for a Dreamcast RPG, and the battle system feels more strategic than the first few volumes. It's a shame more people didn't give this one a chance when it came out.
