Espgaluda II (New)

I’ve been playing through the PS2 version for years, but the Switch port’s handheld mode makes the bullet patterns feel even more intense on the small screen. The charge shot system still adds such a satisfying risk-reward layer. If you like tough shmups, this one’s a blast.

The bullet-hell chaos is incredible on Switch, and the "pink bullet" mechanic adds such a clever layer to scoring. I've been playing it handheld every night since it arrived.

The kakusei mode adds such a clever risk-reward layer to the classic bullet-hell chaos, and the pink bullets are genuinely satisfying to dodge after a long session. It’s a perfect pickup for anyone who loved CAVE’s earlier shooters.
