The ability to pause and issue tactical orders mid-battle really sets this apart from mindless hack-and-slashers. Keeps the campaign feeling fresh even after retaking the same castle a few times.

Been hopping between battles all week and the mix of hack-and-slash with those tactical decisions keeps every skirmish fresh. The rival clan system really makes you think about who to engage first instead of just mashing buttons. Definitely getting my money's worth on this one.

The AI-controlled generals finally put up a decent fight on the harder difficulty, which made sieging castles a real thrill. The sheer number of soldiers on screen during a massive battlefield charge is genuinely impressive for a PSP title, too.
