The J-pop soundtrack really sets the tone during those huge monster fights, and the weapon designs feel absurdly satisfying. The anime cutscenes are a nice bonus that makes the action feel more dramatic.

I've put over 40 hours into this and the monster battles still feel fresh every time. The soundtrack is surprisingly catchy for a game about slaying giant beasts, and the anime-style cutscenes add a lot of personality between the intense fights.

The anime cutscenes and J-pop soundtrack really set the mood between fights, and slicing through those humongous monsters with absurdly oversized blades never gets old. It’s a solid action fix that’s kept me glued to my PSP for weeks.
