I was skeptical about the management mechanics, but the training mini-games where you physically keep your own fitness up actually make the season feel more immersive. It’s a neat twist that sets it apart from typical football sims.

The pressure from fans and board actually changes how you play—I found myself rotating my squad way more than I ever would in other management games. It’s a proper test of nerve when the stadium’s turning on you, but that’s what makes each matchweek feel so tense.

Managing your player fatigue and morale actually matters here, which adds a nice layer of depth beyond just picking tactics. The pressure from fans and board feels real when you’re on a losing streak — had a few tense moments watching my star striker’s form dip.
