Jantei Monogatari 2

The anime cutscenes are gorgeous for a PC Engine game, and the mahjong gameplay has surprising depth. I've been playing through it for a week and keep finding new dialogue options.

The opening movie alone made me feel like I was watching a lost 90s OVA, and the anime-style character portraits during matches are seriously detailed. For anyone into the PC Engine's deep cuts, the sheer effort put into the sci-fi world-building here is a real treat.

The soundtrack and presentation are top-notch for a PC Engine CD game, and the mahjong mechanics are surprisingly deep for an anime-style title. I've spent hours just exploring its unique sci-fi world.
