The watercolor character art is gorgeous on the DS screen, and the Water Margin-inspired story gives it a unique feel. It’s a fun little action RPG that doesn’t overstay its welcome.

The combat flows quickly enough that it never feels like grinding, and the action RPG setup fits the Water Margin-inspired story perfectly. I've been hooked on its stylized watercolour look from the first battle.

The watercolour character art is gorgeous and really sells the whole anime-fable vibe. Combat is snappy and quick to pick up, and the way it reworks The Water Margin into a stylised action RPG kept me hooked for hours. Even the menu screens feel like painted scrolls, which is a nice touch.
