Mario Kart 64 (Cart Only)

Got this for a retro gaming night and the frame rate on the four-player mode is just as smooth as I remembered. The cartridge was clean and loaded right up on the first try.

The familiar red turtle shell item is actually a cleverly designed power-up, and the extra processing power really makes the tracks feel smoother than the 2D original. I've been playing through the cups and the battle mode is just as chaotic as I remembered.

Just got my hands on this Mario Kart 64 cart and the red turtle shell attack is as satisfying as ever. It’s amazing how the extra power from the console makes the tracks feel smoother than the original.
