Metal Slug 4 (Best)

The hostage gratitude animations are a hilarious touch, and watching enemies panic when I sneak up never gets old. Charging in with the full power-up and mowing down the whole screen is pure chaos, exactly what I wanted from this one.

The stealth mechanics are surprisingly fun for a run-and-gun game — seeing enemies panic when you sneak up on them never gets old. The power-up system keeps the action fresh, and I've been playing through it multiple times already.

The hostage gratitude animations caught me off guard the first time—way funnier than I expected for a PS2 shooter. Charging in guns blazing with that power-up stack feels ridiculously satisfying, and the enemy shock reactions never get old.
