ميدوري نو ماكيباو (جديد)

I was surprised how much personality the mule shows in the galloping sequences—the animation really makes you root for him. The controls are simple enough for quick pick-up-and-play sessions, but the story keeps you coming back to buy back his mother. Solid port of the manga fun.

The galloping sequences have surprisingly smooth animation for a GameBoy title, and the underdog story with the mule really adds heart to the races. I've already sunk a few hours trying to earn enough to free his mother.

The galloping sequences capture the frantic energy of the manga perfectly, and the sprite art for the mule is surprisingly detailed. It’s a solid little platformer that brings back great memories.
