Namco Anthology 2

The Adventure of Valkyrie alone is worth the price—the free-roaming shooting gameplay feels just as fun today as it did back in the day. Pac Attack and King of Kings are nice bonuses too, though I wish the collection had a few more titles.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well Adventure of Valkyrie nails that classic Kikikaikai-style run-and-gun feel, and the pixel art holds up beautifully on the PS1. Pac Attack is a fun little puzzle break between the bigger games, and the whole collection feels cohesive.

The four-in-one collection is a great value, especially since King of Kings surprised me with its strategic depth. Adventure of Valkyrie's free-roaming shooting feels smooth and nostalgic, and the pixel art really pops on my old CRT.
