Panic Chan (1st Print)

The anime disc has all the quirky charm I was hoping for, especially the Star Trek spoof that caught me off guard. Picture and audio quality are crisp on my Saturn—great pickup for any '90s OVA collector.

Watching the OVA felt like a warm hug from the 90s—the blend of silly high jinks and the cheeky Star Trek nod caught me off guard in the best way. The animation on these doe-eyed characters is surprisingly smooth for an older release.

The Star Trek nod caught me completely off guard and had me laughing out loud during the second episode. For a Sega Saturn OVA, the animation and voice acting hold up surprisingly well, and the doe-eyed character designs are exactly the kind of retro charm I was hoping for.
