The digitized fighters look surprisingly sharp for a Mega Drive game, and the arenas feel huge compared to other fighting titles I've tried. I've spent a whole afternoon just unlocking the different characters.

The big battle arenas really let you space out your attacks, and the digitised fighters have a gritty charm that brings back the arcade feel. It’s a blast with a friend for some old-school couch competition.

The big battle arenas really set this apart from other fighters of the era, giving you room to actually strategize. The digitized sprites look exactly how I remember them from the arcade, a perfect blast from the past.
