Puyo Puyo 2

The characters are so weird and charming—who doesn't love a samurai mole? I've been playing it during every lunch break and the difficulty curve keeps pulling me back for just one more round.

The chain mechanics are incredibly satisfying once you get the hang of linking multi-colored blobs. Playing through the Saturn version feels buttery smooth compared to other puzzle games I’ve tried. I keep coming back for one more round with that crazy samurai mole.

Picking up a chain of a dozen Puyo in one move is the most satisfying thing I've felt in a puzzle game in years. The samurai mole character is just as weird and wonderful as the description promised. Completely hooked.
