Samurai Spirits IV Special (PSone Books)

The falling snow and orchestral score create such a tense atmosphere that even the loading screens feel cinematic. Those gruesome finishers are brutal but totally fit the samurai theme.

The self-mutilation finishers caught me off guard, but the winter stages with falling snow make it feel like a samurai film. Picked this up for the prison battle alone, and the soundtrack pushes every duel to another level.

The falling snow and tumbling leaves really sell the mood between fights, and those gruesome finishers are shockingly satisfying to pull off. I've been playing through it on my PSone and the orchestral music keeps pulling me right back in.
