Super Chinese 2 (New)

The oni enemies are a nice change of pace from the usual platformer fodder, and the combat has a satisfying weight to it. It fits right in with my other retro carts, especially if you enjoy the Monkey series style.

I bought this to go with my Monkey series collection, and the battle system here feels even more polished—those oni enemies are genuinely tough. The cartridge loaded perfectly on my Famicom, no issues at all.

The oni-style enemies keep you on your toes, and the way the story pulls from ancient history makes each battle feel like a chapter rather than a grind. I’ve sunk a few evenings into it and the difficulty curve is just right for a Famicom cart.
