Tenbu Mega CD Special

The kingdom management mechanics are surprisingly deep for a Mega CD title, and the connection to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms strategy style is a nice touch. Been playing for hours and the population growth system really makes you think about each decision.

Got this for my Wolf Team collection and I’m honestly impressed with how much strategy is packed in—governing the population feels like a real challenge, not just busywork. It’s a neat tie-in to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series if you’re into that era of Koei games.

The dynasty management mechanics are surprisingly deep for a collection piece, and watching my population numbers shift based on decree choices kept me hooked for hours. It’s a niche gem that scratches the grand strategy itch without needing a huge time commitment.
