Twinbee RPG

The 3D platforming levels in Twinbee RPG are surprisingly polished and add a nice new layer to the classic shooter gameplay. Controlling the little Opa Opa ship on legs feels smooth and responsive.

The transition to 3D is surprisingly smooth, and the ship's leg-based movement feels fresh rather than gimmicky. I’ve already sunk a few hours into the side quests and appreciate the extra polish in the visual effects.

The sound design brings back that old-school arcade feel, but the camera angles in 3D mode can be a bit wonky during tight spots. Still, the quirky ship-on-legs concept and smooth gameplay make it a solid pickup for any PS1 fan.
