واتارو

The shopkeeper interactions feel lifted straight from a classic Goemon game, which is a nice touch. The mix of rural Japan and sudden robot battles keeps each level surprising.

The shopkeeper interactions are surprisingly charming for an old HuCard game, and switching between village exploring and platforming keeps things fresh. The robot transformation fits the Japanese countryside setting in a delightfully weird way.

The robot transformation mechanic caught me off guard but fits perfectly with the quirky shopkeeper conversations. Played through the mountain stage twice already and still discovering new secrets.
