Quick Answer
The Under Defeat Black Box preorder includes the game, a soundtrack CD, a fan book, and an exclusive mini guide book. It's a solid value for fans of the Dreamcast shoot 'em up, especially if you want physical extras.
What makes this preorder different from a standard edition?
The Under Defeat Black Box is a limited preorder release, meaning it's not just the game disc in a case. It's a curated bundle aimed at collectors and fans of the genre. The contents are exclusive to this preorder window, so once it's gone, the extras won't be available separately.
Is this a good buy for someone new to shoot 'em ups?
If you're new to Dreamcast shoot 'em ups, the Under Defeat Black Box is a generous entry point. The included fan book and mini guide can help you understand the game's mechanics and scoring systems. However, the game itself is known for its challenging difficulty, so be prepared for a steep learning curve.
