Contra Anniversary Collection Deluxe Edition (Neu)

The save states are a lifesaver for getting past those brutal bullet patterns in Super Contra. Having all ten games on one disc is a solid deal, though I wish the deluxe extras were a bit more substantial.

Playing through the arcade versions of Contra side by side with the console ports really highlights how faithful the conversions were. The code for the spinning stage on Alien Strikes Back still kicks my butt after all these years. Definitely worth it for fans of tough run-and-gun action.

The 10-in-1 arcade collection is a fantastic value, especially since it includes the classic Super Contra that I spent hours on as a kid. The port runs smoothly on PS4 with no noticeable lag during intense firefights, which is key for this series.
