Rambo (Neu)

The cartridge loads instantly and the sprite detail on Rambo's shirtless model is surprisingly sharp for an old Famicom game. The familiar shopper blade sound effect brings back a ton of nostalgia, though the difficulty ramps up faster than I remember.

The detail of Rambo taking his shirt off makes him stand out perfectly from the other sprites, and that familiar "swoosh" sound effect really captures the movie's tension. It's a solid, nostalgic action game for the Famicom.

Starting the game and seeing Rambo actually take his shirt off for the special attack was a cool detail I didn't expect. It makes him stand out immediately from the enemy grunts in their uniforms, which helps during the chaotic action.
