Used Game June 05

Finally got this and was immediately taken back by the detailed history of the Game Boy’s LCD predecessors. The articles on the interchangeable handhelds are exactly what I was hoping for, covering models I’d never seen before.

I’d been hunting for a good overview of the old LCD handhelds, and this issue nailed it with detailed articles on the Game Boy and other interchangeable systems. The focus on lesser-known titles from other companies was a pleasant surprise.

The foldout spreads on the Game & Watch coverage alone are worth it, and I love that they gave space to the other LCD handhelds too. Reading about the Game Boy add-ons brought back serious nostalgia, and the page quality feels great for a used copy.
