Gradius Deluxe Pack

Two arcade-perfect shooters on one disc is a dream come true for anyone who grew up in the arcades, and the Saturn handles both without a hitch. Gradius II’s updated weapon system feels just as frantic as I remember, and having both games ready to go without swapping carts is a huge plus.

I was thrilled to find Gradius II here, the scrolling stage layouts really test your reflexes. The disc loads smoothly on my Saturn, making both classic shooters a blast to play.

Two arcade-perfect shooters on one disc is a steal, and the fact that Gradius II keeps the same tight weapon upgrade flow as the original makes this a must-have for anyone who grew up in the arcade. I’ve played through both dozens of times and the Saturn port feels just as responsive as the coin-op.
