Minna de Dokusho Keitai Shousetsu Desu (Nuevo)

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the images complement the short story, making it easier to follow the love plot even with my intermediate Japanese. The street slang in the dialogue is a nice touch for learning casual conversation.

The street-savvy dialogue is exactly what I needed to pick up casual Japanese that textbooks skip, and the short story format keeps me turning pages on my PSP during breaks. The images sprinkled in add just enough atmosphere to the romance without distracting from the language practice.

Having used this on my daily train commute, the embedded images really help anchor the Japanese street slang in context. I've noticed my reading speed improving after just a few chapters, though a dictionary is still handy for some of the tougher phrases.
