New Japan Pro Wrestling Toukon Retsuden (Nuevo)

The controls are surprisingly responsive for a Wonderswan game, making each grapple and slam feel deliberate. I've been hooked trying to unlock all the hidden wrestlers and their unique moves. It's a solid little fighter that captures the NJPW energy perfectly.

Playing as the bigger wrestlers feels genuinely different from the lighter ones, and the single-player mode has enough depth to keep me coming back. The black and white graphics are surprisingly clear on the WonderSwan, making each match easy to follow.

The two-player mode on this WonderSwan cart is a blast when you've got a friend around, and the grapplers look surprisingly chunky even on the black-and-white screen. It's a solid pick if you're into retro wrestling games, though the sumo-sized roster definitely brings the laughs.
