I wasn't sure what to expect from a loose cart, but the game loads perfectly and the tongue-swinging mechanic to eat blocks feels incredibly smooth. The vibrant character expressions really pop on screen, and it’s been a fun, nostalgic playthrough.

The animation on these characters is so lively and expressive, it feels like a proper cartoon on my Super Famicom. The way Taruruto eats blocks to clear paths is genuinely clever and adds a fun twist to the platforming. Runs smooth and looks great on a CRT.
