Monster Race (Nouveau)

The race mechanics are surprisingly deep for such a simple-looking game, and building up my monster roster in the peaceful town kept me hooked for hours. I’ve already lost two afternoons just tweaking my lineup before each race.

After spending hours capturing new monsters in the town, I have to say the challenge of building a balanced team for the races really keeps me coming back. The racing mechanics are simple to pick up but have enough depth that I'm still figuring out the best strategies for each track.

I’ve been roaming the peaceful little town for hours, training my racers between events—it’s surprisingly addictive. The monster roster is huge enough that each race feels different, and the progression keeps me coming back. Best pick-up-and-play game I’ve found for the GameBoy in years.
