Riglord Saga (Nouveau)

Crow man Kuroyasha is such a bizarre and cool character design, it really makes the experimental gameplay worth pushing through. The Genki-developed atmosphere has this weird charm that kept me hooked even when the battle system felt clunky.

The battle system took me a few hours to get used to, but once it clicked, the experimental feel really grew on me. Kuroyasha’s design is so striking, and the story twists around him kept me pushing through the slower parts. Definitely a hidden oddity for Saturn RPG fans who don’t mind rough edges.

This one’s a strange, scrappy gem that nails its moody atmosphere, and the Kuroyasha fight is a highlight I won’t forget. It’s rough around the edges in classic Saturn fashion, but the experimental vibe kept me hooked through the whole run.
