Muryo: La cronaca delle guerre scolastiche (Nuovo)

I was honestly surprised by how well the cut scenes hold up on the GBA—they actually capture the anime’s slick style. The alien invasion plot mixed with high school daily life makes for a pretty unique gameplay loop. Definitely a fun, quirky title if you’re into retro handhelds.

The gameplay mix of school life and alien battles in the GameBoy port captures the anime's strangeness perfectly. I’ve been hooked on the slick cut scenes from the NHK show, which look surprisingly sharp on the small screen.

The anime cut scenes are surprisingly well done on a GBA cartridge, and the high school setting with alien invaders feels fresh. Managed to snag a copy for a fair price—definitely worth picking up if you're into retro RPGs with a story.
