The interface tweaks in this sequel make it so much easier to manage disasters without everything going haywire at once. I spent an entire afternoon just testing the new surprises, like the volcano that popped up when I least expected it.

After years of trying to replicate that first Populous magic, this sequel finally nails the balance—I love dropping a volcano right in the middle of a settlement just to watch them scramble. The interface is cleaner, making it way easier to trigger disasters without fumbling through menus.

The interface is so much smoother than the first game, I can actually chain disasters without the menus fighting me. Spent a whole evening sending lightning bolts at my unsuspecting followers, and the new surprise events kept things fresh.
