Quiz Gensan (Nuovo)

The quiz format keeps things fresh since the questions are geared toward Japanese students, so I actually learned a few kanji while trying to rescue Gensan’s lady. It’s a fun twist on the usual action games for the original GameBoy, and the robot rivals add a nice challenge.

The questions actually make you think, so it's not just button mashing—there's real strategy in which category you pick. I've sunk a few evenings into this and the robot rivals feel properly tough as you go further.

The quiz battles against the robot rivals are way more entertaining than I expected, and the Japanese questions give it a nice brain-teaser challenge on the original GameBoy. It’s a quirky little cartridge that’s kept me hooked for hours trying to stump myself.
