The 3D graphics are surprisingly smooth and detailed for a PS1 game, with the zoom feature on the robot scrapper adding a nice visual polish. The controls feel tight once you get used to them, making the racing solid and addictive. A pleasant surprise that holds up well.

I wasn't expecting much from a PSX racer, but the smooth zoom effect on the robot scrapper really pulls you into the action. The solid 3D results and polished feel make this a hidden gem for the console.

The 3D visuals in this one are seriously impressive for the PSX, that extra sheen on the robot really makes it pop. The controls finally clicked for me after a couple of stages, and it's got that solid, polished feel you don't always get from this genre. If you're into mech combat, it's a great pick
