I was a bit worried the retro feel would feel dated, but the gameplay is surprisingly deep and the soundtrack on that CD-ROM is glorious.

That 3/4 perspective really nails the Super Famicom vibe—I caught myself grinning at the field of view during the first dungeon crawl. The pacing of the story hooks you fast, and it runs smoothly on my setup with zero hiccups so far.

The battle system is tight and the pixel art really nails that 90s charm without feeling dated. I've sunk about ten hours in and the pacing keeps pulling me back for just one more dungeon.
