Finally a Saturn RPG that doesn't play like a slow slog—the battle system is snappy and the demon fusion keeps me experimenting. The pixel art is gorgeous, especially the eerie city backdrops. Definitely a hidden gem for series fans.

The atmosphere is so thick you can practically feel it in the room—the graphics really do ooze that dark, cyberpunk vibe. If you've played the Tensei games, the combat and demon fusion feel right at home, but the whole vibe here is uniquely moody. I've been glued to my Saturn for three days straight

That opening FMV sequence immediately pulls you into the game's cyberpunk world, and the soundtrack really drives the atmosphere home. Combat is satisfying and familiar if you've played other Megami Tensei titles, but the whole presentation feels distinctly 32-bit.
