月花の騎士 応龍戦

The cracked avatar designs add such a gritty, lived-in feel to each match—makes you feel like you're really facing off against some shady characters. The voice work is top-notch too, really sells the tension of a Shogi game.

The voice acting really brings each character to life, making every match feel intense. Even the minor players have distinct, menacing deliveries that fit the mood perfectly. I've been playing Shogi for years, and this is the most atmospheric version I’ve encountered.

Those avatar expressions are surprisingly intense for a Saturn game, and they make every capture feel personal. I've sunk hours into it just for the atmosphere alone.
