The music score alone sets such a perfect feudal mood that I've been leaving the title screen on just to listen. For a PS2 game, the visuals and presentation really capture that samurai era feel without feeling dated.

The music score alone makes you feel like you're in a Japanese scroll painting, and the combat system flows surprisingly smooth for a PS2 title.

The moment you land in the first village, the period-authentic scenery and soundscape hit you, making it feel like a proper samurai epic. Combat is fast and flashy, and the boss encounters genuinely test your timing. If you crave a stylish, historically immersive hack-and-slash, this one's a keeper.
