I finally got a chance to lead Nobunaga’s forces through the warlord-era maps, and the way the battle simulations unfold town by town really captures the grind of unification. The strategic depth here is no joke—every move against rival clans feels like it matters.

The turn-based battles are exactly what I hoped for—watching Nobunaga's armies clash on the map feels properly tactical. It's a bit dated mechanically, but that's part of the charm for a classic Koei war sim.

The interface is surprisingly intuitive for a Koei war sim, making it easy to manage Nobunaga's troops and territory without getting bogged down. I've already sunk hours into the campaign mode and the strategic depth feels just right for a quick session or a long siege.
