The quest mode alone is worth the price—it's got that addictive puzzle-loop where you keep telling yourself "one more round" and suddenly it's 2am. The four-player mode on the Mega Drive compilations is chaos in the best way, especially with a multitap.

I was a little worried about how the four player mode would hold up on a PS1, but it’s surprisingly smooth and chaotic in the best way. The pocket station interaction is a fun gimmick I didn’t expect to use much, yet it’s become my favorite way to pass the time between matches.

Quest mode is such a nice surprise — it adds a whole new layer of depth beyond just the arcade-style matches. Being able to play the Mega Drive versions with three other people locally is exactly what I wanted.
