Rタイプ

Still can't believe how much of that original arcade stage made it into a handheld — the slowdown is barely there and the sprite work is shockingly crisp for a portable port. The embryo boss fight alone is worth the price, and I've already sunk hours into it on lunch breaks.

The controls are incredibly responsive for a handheld version, and the level one alien embryo boss still gives me chills. Definitely brings back the arcade magic without feeling like a compromise.

Was a little skeptical how well R-Type would work on a handheld, but the controls are tight and responsive, and that first alien boss still gives me chills. Plays exactly how I remember from the arcade.
