Summon Night 3

The character portraits are so expressive, especially Genki’s reactions when you accidentally pick the wrong retort—it really makes the dialogue feel alive. The backgrounds are detailed too, which pulls you deeper into the world.

I was worried the dialogue choices would feel shallow, but the way Genki's retorts actually change the ladies' expressions is a nice touch. Really adds to the immersion in those detailed backgrounds.

The retort system is a blast—I’ve genuinely made the ladies upset more times than I’d care to admit, and each reaction feels so alive because of those detailed character portraits. The backgrounds are lush enough that I keep pausing just to look, which says a lot for a PS2 game.
