The 3D top section really adds depth to the otherwise flat visuals, making the action feel more immersive. I was skeptical about how well it would hold up, but after a few play sessions it's clear this port captures the arcade challenge without feeling watered down.

The virtual cushion gimmick is surprisingly immersive once you get used to it, and the fact this is a full PC Engine port of the arcade shooter is incredible. I’ve spent hours flying through those 3D sections.

The 3D shooting segments feel properly intense on the PC Engine, and the way the Virtual Cushion simulates the arcade's motion is way more convincing than I expected from a HuCard. It's a solid port that captures the coin-op's spirit even if you're just sitting on your couch.
