Wataru Monster GB 2 (New)

The battle mechanic where you weaken monsters before capturing them feels really rewarding, and the old-school RPG pace is perfect for quick sessions on a bus ride. I've been hooked all week trying to collect them all.

The pixel art on this monster capture game is crisp and the battles feel balanced, not too easy or frustrating. I’ve been hunting through the different zones for hours and the challenge keeps me coming back.

The save feature actually works flawlessly on original hardware, which is rare for a GB cart these days. I’ve been grinding through the monster battles for two evenings straight and haven’t lost a single capture or level.
