X-メン ミュータント アカデミー (新品)

Had a great time unlocking all the mutant characters at the Danger Room; the sphinx background really pops on my old GBC screen. The special moves feel responsive and actually use the buttons well for a fighting game of this era.

Tapping through all the special moves on the tiny GBC buttons is surprisingly satisfying, and the sphinx background really pops against the garish color palette.

That sphinx background is genuinely gorgeous for a Game Boy Color title, and the roster of mutant special moves keeps every fight feeling fresh. I've been replaying it all week and still find new combos to pull off.
